Skip to contentFor straightening disc brake rotors and measuring minimum disc thickness.
CNC Machined from aluminium and anodised for corrosion and wear resistance.
Laser engraved.
Truing slot – 44mm long, 2mm wide.
To check minimum thickness – simply find the slot for the brand of rotor you have. If the rotor slides into the slot, then it’s worn and needs replacing. If the rotor doesn’t fit in the slot, then you’ve still got enough material on the rotor to ensure effective braking.
The tool has been precisely CNC machined to ensure you get accurate results.
The 1.5mm slot minimum thickness is a gauge for Shimano and Hope rotors.
The 1.55mm slot minimum thickness is a gauge for SRAM rotors.
The 1.8mm slot minimum thickness is a gauge for Magura rotors.
The 2mm slot minimum thickness is a gauge for Tektro and TRP Ebike rotors.
Tool is 175mm long, 25mm wide, 8mm thick and weighs 86g.
